BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy PM and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali received a farewell visit from Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Chen Bo on Thursday.
They discussed economic relations between the two countries and the successful cooperation during the ambassador's tenure in Belgrade.
Mali thanked Chen for the energy and commitment invested in implementation of successful joint projects between Serbia and China, and added that she was to be credited for a large part of that success, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement.
Chen noted that she was glad to have witnessed Serbia's accelerated progress in the past four and a half years and added that she believed the period had been the most successful in the past 30 years.
She also said China was available to Serbia for experience-sharing regarding hosting the EXPO 2027 as Shanghai had hosted the event in 2010.
The parties agreed that economic cooperation between Serbia and China would develop further in the period to come given the large number of current and planned projects.
