Djuric: Serbia committed to strengthening historic partnership with US

WASHINGTON- Serbian Ambassador to Washington Marko Djuric on Thursday congratulated the US Department of State on the 234th anniversary of its establishment, noting that Belgrade was committed to strengthening the historic Serbia-US partnership.

"As we wish a happy 234th anniversary of the State Department

to our American Foreign Service colleagues, we reaffirm our strong commitment to strengthening and upholding the shared principles of the historic Serbia-US partnership," Djuric wrote in a post on the social media network X, formerly known as Twitter.

The US Department of State was established on July 27, 1789.
