BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic received a farewell visit from Chinese Ambassador Chen Bo on Monday.
Chen noted that, during her tenure in Belgrade, she had witnessed Serbia's best years in three decades, but that she expected the period to come to be even better.
She said she saw innovation and new technologies as a new growing point of development of Sino-Serbian relations.
Brnabic thanked China for the support and assistance provided to Serbia in challenging times such as these and noted that the ambassador had worked with commitment on strengthening economic and business ties, the government press office said in a statement.
Brnabic particularly noted China's aid to Serbia during the coronavirus pandemic.
"Respect of the principle of international law is of great importance to us and the demanding years we have been through together have strengthened further the friendship between our peoples," Brnabic said.
Brnabic thanked the ambassador for China's consistent and principled stance on the Kosovo-Metohija issue.
