Brnabic receives new ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic received Bosnia and Herzegovina's newly-appointed Ambassador Aleksandar Vranjes on Wednesday.

Welcoming the ambassador and wishing him success in his tenure in Belgrade, Brnabic said there was ample space for further advancement of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the economy, and noted the importance of implementing joint infrastructure projects, including a project to build a Belgrade-Sarajevo motorway.

Speaking about Open Balkan, Brnabic said Bosnia and Herzegovina's membership in the initiative would help to make it more inclusive and to achieve economic betterment for all citizens of the region, the Serbian government said in a statement.

The parties agreed to work together on strengthening and advancement of bilateral cooperation in all areas of significance to both sides.
