Vucic: I requested that Kfor take over care of security issues in north Kosovo
BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday he had had an important discussion with representatives of Quint states in one of the most difficult moments for Serbia and that he had requested that Kfor take over care of all security issues in the north of Kosovo-Metohija from the so-called Kosovo Police.
"I reiterated Serbia's positions on the most recent developments in Kosovo-Metohija and requested that Kfor take over care of all security issues in the north of Kosovo-Metohija from (Pristina PM Albin) Kurti's police," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account.
"Also, I raised the question of why Eulex presence during the operation carried out in the territory of the north of Kosovo had been rejected by the Kosovo police," Vucic added.
Vucic met with the ambassadors of Quint states - the US, the UK, France, Italy and Germany - and the head of the EU Delegation to Belgrade earlier in the day.
