WASHINGTON - Serbian Ambassador to the US Marko Djuric says Pristina PM Albin Kurti's hybrid conflict with Serbia knows no respite despite calls from the US and the EU.
Commenting on Pristina's accusations implicating Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic's son Danilo in the September 24 clashes in Banjska, Djuric said they were yet another escalatory move.
"Kurti's dangerous hybrid conflict with Serbia knows no respite - despite repeated calls from the US and EU. In yet another series of moves up the escalatory ladder by the regime of Albin Kurti - top officials of the regime targeted Danilo Vucic, the son of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, making harsh false accusations aimed at further smearing Serbia and delegitimising its government," Djuric wrote in a post on the social media network X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday evening.
"Simultaneously on the ground, the reign of terror continues on a daily basis - today Kurti's forces stormed an ambulance and prevented the delivery of vital provisions to a medical facility. Yesterday, they conducted training flights of killer drones over Djakovica, thus continuing the unprecedented buildup of Kurti's special forces in the north of Kosovo* in defiance of Article 9 of the Brussels Agreement for the 20th month in a row.
Day after day, month after month, Kurti is demonstrating to the entire world that he is not a partner for normalisation, that he never plans to fulfill the obligation of forming the Community of Serb-majority municipalities, and that he wants all Serbs out," Djuric added.
