Vucic calls parliamentary elections for December 17
BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Wednesday dissolved the Serbian parliament and called parliamentary elections for December 17.
"Pursuant to Paragraphs 1 and 5 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia and Paragraph 1 of Article 21 of the Law on the President of the Republic, at an argumented proposal by the Government of October 30, 2023, I adopt a decree on dissolving the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia," Vucic said.
He said he called parliamentary elections for December 17.
Vucic also said the timeframes for electoral activities began on the day the decision entered into force.
He said the decision entered into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia.
