Vucic meets with Lajcak in Belgrade

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with the EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and other Western Balkan regional issues Miroslav Lajcak in Belgrade on Tuesday.

Previously, Lajcak met with the head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic.

During a visit to Pristina last week, Lajcak said his goal was to lay the groundwork for a November 16 meeting of chief negotiators of Belgrade and Pristina - Petkovic and Besnik Bislimi.

The parties last met in Brussels on October 26, when EU representatives held separate meetings with Vucic and Pristina's PM Albin Kurti.
