BELGRADE - Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides on Wednesday arrived on a two-day official visit to Serbia.
Serbian FM Ivica Dacic welcomed him at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport.
"I welcomed the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides, who will be on a two-day official visit to Serbia. I am confident this visit will further strengthen the friendly relations and cooperation between our countries," Dacic wrote in a post on his Instagram account.
Christodoulides will be received by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic this afternoon.
A welcoming ceremony outside the Palace of Serbia is scheduled for 2 pm, after which Vucic and Christodoulides will hold a meeting.
It will be followed by a plenary meeting of Serbian and Cypriot delegations and a press conference of the two presidents.
On the second day of Christodoulides's visit, a council on Serbia-Cyprus cooperation will hold a session, after which several MoUs will be signed at a ceremony to be attended by the two heads of state.
