Djilas: We will defend citizens' will by all democratic means available
BELGRADE - The leader of the opposition Freedom and Justice Party (SSP), Dragan Djilas, said he expected a high turnout in Sunday's elections in Serbia and added that the SSP-led Serbia Against Violence electoral list would defend the citizens' will by all democratic means available.
"The power of a people determined to live in a country without uncertainty, in normality and without corruption, crime and price hikes, a country that will invest in education and health care, a country young people will not be leaving, is the greatest and there is absolutely nothing that can stop that," Djilas said after voting in Belgrade.
"I expect the Serbian citizens to turn out in high numbers in today's elections to demonstrate their will. We, as the largest opposition list, will defend their will by all democratic means available," he told reporters.
