NOVI SAD - The electoral commission of Serbia's northern Autonomous Province of Vojvodina has adopted a consolidated report on the final results of the December 17/30 elections for the Vojvodina Assembly.

The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Aleksandar Vucic - Vojvodina Must Not Stop electoral list won the absolute majority - 66 of 120 seats in the assembly, the commission announced on its website on Sunday.

The Serbia Against Violence coalition won 30 seats while the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians won nine.

The Socialist Party of Serbia and the Hope Coalition won seven seats each and the Russian Party has one seat.

The Serbian Radical Party, a coalition formed by the Democratic Alliance of Croats in Vojvodina and the Justice and Reconciliation Party, the Cedomir Jovanovic-led Vojvodina Must Do Differently list, the People's Party, a coalition formed by the Serbian Oathkeepers Party and the Dveri Movement, a Enough Is Enough-Social Democratic Party coalition and a League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina-led coalition all failed to clear the electoral threshold.

The commission also said 984,963 of 1,669,791 voters had cast their ballots in the elections and that there were 30,444 invalid ballots.
