DAVOS - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is attending the annual World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Davos, where he will until January 19 have a series of bilateral meetings with international and European officials and numerous representatives of international organisations, financial institutions and leading global companies.
On Tuesday, the first day of the WEF meeting in Davos, Vucic met with US Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia James O'Brien and said he was confident that building a relationship of greater trust and cooperation between the two countries was possible in the future.
In a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account, Vucic wrote that he had had important discussions with O'Brien about Serbia's future, the relations with Pristina and improvement of US-Serbia relations.
He also spoke with Belgian PM Alexander De Croo about Serbia's EU path during Belgium's EU presidency.
"A good discussion with Alexander De Croo about global and regional topics and strengthening of overall Serbia-Belgium relations. We also discussed Serbia's steps on the EU integration path during Belgium's current presidency over the Council of the EU," Vucic also posted on Instagram.
He also met with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi and announced that Grossi would visit Serbia to discuss key issues for development of the country and the region.
