Cvetkovic meets with NDI management team in Washington

WASHINGTON - Serbian Minister of Economy Slobodan Cvetkovic met with the management team of the US National Democratic Institute (NDI) in Washington on Tuesday to discuss advancing cooperation and implementing the large number of projects the organisation was carrying out in Serbia.

According to a statement released by the Ministry of Economy, the parties took note of good cooperation and great NDI support to Serbia when it comes to improving democratic capacities and practices as well as advancing Serbia-US bilateral relations.

Previously, Cvetkovic and Congress of Serbian-American Friendship President Vladimir Marinkovic met in Washington with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Gabriel Escobar to discuss advancing bilateral economic cooperation and creating an even better investment environment in Serbia.
