Orlic calls constitutive session of new parliament for February 6

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Vladimir Orlic on Tuesday called the constitutive session of the new parliament for February 6.

Ten out of the 18 electoral lists that ran in the December 17 parliamentary elections made it into the new parliament.

On the agenda of the session will be the approval of the mandates of MPs, the election of the parliament speaker and deputy speakers, the appointment of the parliament's secretary general and the election of members of parliamentary working bodies and standing parliamentary delegations to international institutions.

Earlier in the day, the national electoral commission adopted a report on the parliamentary polls, creating the conditions for calling the constitutive session of the new parliament.
