Vucic informs Russian ambassador of Pristina's latest unilateral move
BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received Russian Ambassador to Belgrade Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko on Thursday to inform him of Pristina's latest unilateral move.
"I informed Ambassador Botsan-Kharchenko of Pristina's latest unilateral move, which is clearly aimed against Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija, as well as of the potential consequences of this irresponsible act by (Pristina PM Albin) Kurti's regime," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account.
Vucic added that the meeting had also addressed Serbia-Russia bilateral relations and cooperation and other regional and international affairs of joint interest.
"I reiterated the gratitude to Russia for the support it is providing for respect of the territorial integrity of Serbia," Vucic noted.
The presidential press office has announced Vucic would make a public address on Friday afternoon.
He is expected to speak about his discussions with representatives of Quint states and the EU following Pristina's decision to ban the Serbian dinar in Kosovo-Metohija.
