Serbia gets new parliament
BELGRADE - Serbia got its new parliament on Tuesday after the mandates of all 250 MPs were approved at a constitutive session.
After their mandates were approved, the MPs took the oath of office and Tuesday's sitting of the session was concluded.
It was presided over by Stojan Radenovic, the oldest MP from the Aleksandar Vucic-led Serbia Must Not Stop electoral list.
The MPs will convene again soon to elect the new parliament speaker and deputy speakers, appoint the new secretary general and elect the members of the parliament's working bodies and standing delegations to international institutions.
