Vucevic, Mojsilovic meet with working group on compulsory military service

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy PM and Defence Minister Milos Vucevic and Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff Gen Milan Mojsilovic met on Thursday with a working group tasked with creating conditions for reinstating compulsory military service in the Serbian Armed Forces.

Based on the conclusions of the meeting, the working group will continue to work on developing several models of compulsory military service to be presented to Serbian president and army commander-in-chief Aleksandar Vucic by May 1, the Ministry of Defence said in a statement.

The members of the working group were given a presentation of the starting points and guidelines issued by Vucevic and Mojsilovic for further work on the models and were also assigned the main tasks for the period to come.
