Lajcak: Chief negotiators to meet in Brussels in coming days
PRISTINA - The EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak said on Tuesday he had met with Pristina's chief negotiator Besnik Bislimi to discuss implementation of the Ohrid Agreement and the so-called Kosovo central bank's ban on the Serbian dinar and announced he would host a Brussels meeting of chief negotiators in the coming days.
"I am planning to host another meeting at the level of chief negotiators in the coming days, so this is the main reason for my visit to Pristina today," Lajcak told reporters in Pristina.
He said the consequences of the dinar ban would be analysed and that it was important that no citizens be "negatively affected" by it.
He also said implementing all past agreements from Brussels was in the interest of both parties.
