Borrell: We will keep putting pressure on Belgrade, Pristina to move forward

BRUSSELS - EU foreign policy and security chief Josep Borrell said on Monday the EU would keep putting pressure on Belgrade and Pristina to move forward in implementation of the Ohrid Agreement, reached a year ago.

Speaking to reporters in Brussels, Borrell said Belgrade and Pristina had achieved “very limited progress" in implementation of the deal despite great support from the EU and the international community.

"We will continue putting pressure on both sides to move forward but, one year later, implementation has not been very much what I expected (it) to be," Borrell said ahead of Tuesday's new round of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue in Brussels at chief negotiators level.
