Brnabic: Buildup of NATO troops in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo-Metohija worrying message
BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic described on Thursday as a "worrying message" an announcement by the NATO commander in Europe, Christopher Cavoli, that the alliance would send more troops to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo-Metohija.
At a press conference in the parliament building, Brnabic said NATO was pushing for a Srebrenica genocide resolution in the UN General Assembly while knowing that potential adoption of such a resolution would cause further divisions and instability in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"Do not force things, do not cause precedents everyone else will then use to further destabilise the world," she said in a message to sponsors of the resolution.
If they succeed in pushing through a Srebrenica resolution in the UNGA, a precedent will take place, she said.
"They will open a Pandora's box. After that, God may help all of them with what that will cause," Brnabic said.
