Dacic: UNSC session opportunity to point out Kosovo-Metohija Serbs' problems
BELGRADE - Serbian FM Ivica Dacic said Monday's UN Security Council session on the work of UNMIK, the UN mission in Kosovo-Metohija, was another opportunity for Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to highlight all fundamental principles advocated by Serbia and point out all problems faced by Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija.
Speaking to Pink TV, Dacic said it was another chance to note that the new semi-annual report on UNMIK, which he said was, as always, pattern-based, failed to reflect all the problems faced by Serbs and point to the "source of all those problems."
Asked if he expected reactions to Sunday's referendum to replace the illegitimate ethnic Albanian mayors of four Serb-majority municipalities in the north of Kosovo-Metohija - which was boycotted by the Serbs - Dacic said the issue was formally not a part of the report but would definitely be a topic.
He added that the referendum was a failure.
Dacic also said the objective of Pristina's unilateral acts was to constantly cause problems and make life complicated for Kosovo-Metohija Serbs to achieve the long-term goal of continued ethnic cleansing.
