Brnabic meets with Mexican ambassador to Belgrade

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic met with Mexican Ambassador to Belgrade Carlos Felix Corona on Friday.

The parties noted that 2024 marked 78 years since the establishment of Serbia-Mexico diplomatic relations, symbolising a long-standing friendship and successful cooperation between the two countries.

Brnabic thanked the ambassador for Mexico's support for Serbia's successful bid to host the specialised EXPO 2027 and noted that the expo was an excellent opportunity to promote Mexico as well as to attract tourists and investors.

The parties said they were pleased with the parliamentary cooperation to date and expressed a desire to advance it further, the Serbian parliament said in a statement.

They noted the potential for strengthening economic cooperation, as well as Mexico's interest in utilising Serbian technical and technological expertise in agriculture, health care and industry.
