Mojsilovic meets with Kfor commander
MT KOPAONIK - Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff Gen Milan Mojsilovic met with Kfor Commander Maj Gen Ozkan Ulutas on Mt Kopaonik on Wednesday to discuss the current security situation in Kosovo-Metohija, the cooperation to date and the effects of activities being taken to monitor the situation on the ground and prevent further deterioration of the security situation in the province.
The parties expressed a mutual commitment to preservation of peace and stability and noted the significance contacts between the Serbian Armed Forces and the international force in Kosovo-Metohija at all levels have for successful preventive action, the Serbian MoD said in a statement.
Noting that the security situation in Kosovo-Metohija is volatile and sensitive and that Pristina's unilateral provocative moves pose a security threat, Mojsilovic once again requested from the Kfor commander that the international force in the province acts professionally and without bias to prevent, in a timely manner, any attempt of threatening the Serb population, the statement also said.
