Vucic: We will step up cooperation with Georgia

DAVOS - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Georgian PM Irakli Garibashvili on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos on Wednesday, noting that the two countries would further intensify their economic, trade and scientific and technical cooperation.

"An excellent discussion with Garibashvili. We agreed to further intensify economic, trade and scientific and technical cooperation because the potentials in those fields are still untapped. We particularly discussed energy security issues and modalities of joint work towards overcoming the challenges we face in the present geopolitical situation," Vucic wrote in an Instagram post after the meeting.

"I once again thanked Georgia for its consistent position regarding respect of the territorial integrity of Serbia and invited PM Garibashvili to visit Serbia," Vucic added.

Earlier, he also met with Montenegrin PM Dritan Abazovic.
