Vulin thanks Grushko for Russia's support for territorial integrity of Serbia

MOSCOW - Serbian Deputy PM Aleksandar Vulin met with Russian Deputy FM Alexander Grushko in Moscow on Monday, noting that Serbia highly appreciated the Russian Federation's principled and consistent position on safeguarding the territorial integrity of Serbia and its national interests, as well as its unconditional respect of UNSCR 1244, adopted on June 10, 1999.

At the same time, Vulin asked Grushko to convey to Russian FM Sergey Lavrov Serbia's gratitude for Russia's support in the UN General Assembly and its vote against the disgraceful Srebrenica resolution, an official statement said.

Vulin, who is on a several-day official visit to the Russian Federation, noted that Russia is a sincere friend of Serbia and the Serbs, the statement also said.
