Dacic: Decision on lifting red terrorism alert due at end of week
BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said on Tuesday a decision on a potential lifting of a red terrorism alert declared after Saturday's attack on a Serbian gendarme outside the Israeli embassy in Belgrade was due at the end of this week.
"In view of the fact the police and Security Information Agency operation in connection with the terrorist act and the Wahhabist movement is still underway, a decision on a potential lifting of the red terrorism alert will be made at the end of the week and the public will be informed of what has been done in the course of the operation," Dacic said in a statement released by his ministry.
