Vucic: Christmas inspires us to together build better future filled with love

HILANDAR MONASTERY- Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic wished a Merry Christmas to all Orthodox Christians on Tuesday.

"In a world that, since time immemorial, has carried the excessively heavy burden of injustice, plight, doubt, hatred and conflict, a sincere and fiery faith in justice, peace and love remains our firm support, a beacon of hope and a point where we gather around the highest values," Vucic wrote in a post on his avucic Instagram account.

"Only strengthened by that power can we walk proudly through these tumultuous times and show that courage and nobleness always defeat hypocrisy and hatred," he added.

"Christmas inspires to open up our hearts, find strength in each other and together build a better future filled with mutual respect and love. Peace of God, Christ is born," Vucic concluded.
