SMEDEREVO - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic visited the families of the Mladenovac and Smederevo massacre victims on Tuesday and spoke with the parents and relatives of those killed.

He visited the Panic and Todorovic families in the Dubona village and the Stevanovic, Milic, Milovanovic and Mitrovic families in the Malo Orasje village.

The Panic family lost two children - a daughter and a son, who was a police officer.

The youngest victim of the massacre was 15 and the oldest was 25.

Extending his condolences, Vucic said he believed the Serbian judiciary and other institutions would have the strength to punish the killer and his helpers in an adequate manner, and noted that the most stringent punishment was the only right one.

The Mladenovac and Smederevo massacre took place on May 4, when U B, aged 21, killed eight people and wounded 14 others with an automatic weapon in Dubona and Malo Orasje, situated near Mladenovac, about 60 km from Belgrade.

According to a statement released by the Ministry of Interior, a large arsenal of weapons has been found in a weekend house used by the killer, who was arrested near Kragujevac after going on the run and hiding in a relative's house.
