BELGRADE - The head coach of the Serbia men's national football team Dragan Stojkovic on Friday announced the final squad list for the upcoming Nations League A games against Switzerland and Spain.
The 24-player squad list is:
Goalkeepers: Predrag Rajkovic, Vanja Milinkovic-Savic and Aleksandar Jovanovic;
Defenders: Nikola Milenkovic, Strahinja Pavlovic, Jan Carlo Simic, Kosta Nedeljkovic and Strahinja Erakovic;
Midfielders: Sasa Lukic, Ivan Ilic, Sasa Zdjelar, Nemanja Maksimovic, Lazar Samardzic, Andrija Zivkovic, Marko Grujic, Nikola Cumic, Dejan Zukic, Aleksandar Cirkovic, Andrija Maksimovic and Veljko Birmancevic;
Forwards: Aleksandar Mitrovic, Luka Jovic, Dejan Joveljic and Mihailo Ivanovic.
Serbia will again be without Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, who scored a total of four goals in the last two games for his club.
Vlahovic was also omitted from the squad list for last month's Nations League games after turning down a call-up by Stojkovic for private reasons.
Goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic is back in the fold after also skipping the September matches and 17-year-old Red Star attacking midfielder Andrija Maksimovic could be handed a debut for the national team.
Serbia host Switzerland in Leskovac on October 12 and then play Spain in Cordoba on October 15.
