Pristina's police raid tax administration office in northern K Mitrovica
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The so-called Kosovo Police raided the Kosovska Mitrovica office of the Serbian Tax Administration on Wednesday morning.
The raid in the northern part of the town began at around 9 am and the office was searched, Most TV reported.
A regional deputy police chief said the office would remain closed until full verification of facts and that an investigation into alleged document forgery was underway.
Pristina's police also illegally closed the offices of the Serbian Directorate for Development Land and Roads and the Directorate for Housing and Office Space in northern Kosovska Mitrovica on December 26 and the building of the local urban planning enterprise on the following day.
In a statement, the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija said the raid on the offices of the two directorates was "a drastic and brutal continuation of Pristina's terror against the Serbs and their institutions in the north of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo-Metohija."
