Danilovic loses to Tomova in Cluj-Napoca

CLUJ-NAPOCA - Serbian tennis player Olga Danilovic has failed to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Cluj-Napoca WTA tournament after losing to Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova 7-5, 7-5 in the second round on Wednesday evening.

World number 63 Tomova won after an hour and 57 minutes of play.

Danilovic ranks 41st in the WTA rankings.

In the quarter-final, Tomova will face Czech Katerina Siniakova.

The prize money in Cluj-Napoca is 275,094 dollars.
