Serbia U18 men's national basketball team takes European title

NIS - The Serbia U18 men's national basketball team has won the 2023 FIBA U18 European Championship after beating defending champions Spain 81-71 (24-24, 17-16, 15-11, 25-20) in the final in Nis on Sunday.

Serbia's Nikola Topic was the top scorer of the game with 24 points and his teammates Mitar Bosnjakovic and Andrej Musicki added 21 and 12 points, respectively.

Mario Saint-Supery led the scoring for Spain with 17 points, Hugo Gonzalez scored 16 and Lucas Langarita and Aday Mara each added 12 points.

Germany won the bronze medal after defeating France 67-59.
