Serbia crush Malta at European water polo championship
ZAGREB - The Serbia men's national water polo team is through to the round of last 16 at the European Water Polo Championship in Zagreb after a 21-4 win over Malta in a Group C, Round 3 match on Tuesday evening.
Vuk Milojevic led the scoring for Serbia with four goals and captain Nikola Jaksic, Strahinja Rasovic, Sava Ranjelovic and Marko Radulovic all added three goals each, while goalkeeper Radoslav Filipovic produced 12 saves.
Serbia, who previously defeated Israel and Germany, finished the group stage on top of the Group C table and will next face France in the knockout stage on Wednesday evening.
