Kecmanovic overcomes Struff to reach Aussie Open third round

MELBOURNE - Serbian tennis player Miomir Kecmanovic is through to the Australian Open third round after a 6-4, 1-6, 7-6 (7-5), 1-6, 7-6 (11-9) victory over German Jan-Lennard Struff in Melbourne on Thursday.

Kecmanovic, who won after three hours and 21 minutes of play, is now 1-2 head-to-head against Struff.

The Serbian will next face American Tommy Paul, who defeated Briton Jack Draper in the second round on Thursday.
