Milan Mandaric to be named Vojvodina Novi Sad vice-president
NOVI SAD - Serbian businessman Milan Mandaric, former owner of football clubs including Leicester City, Sheffield Wednesday, Portsmouth, Nice, Standard Liege and Charleroi, is set to be unveiled as vice-president of Serbian outfit Vojvodina Novi Sad.
The Dnevnik daily reports Mandaric has reached an agreement with Vojvodina President Dragoljub Zbiljic and Director General Dusan Bajatovic.
Mandaric will provide advice and immediate engagement in a bid to help the club secure a slot in European competitions next season.
Former Vojvodina player and current Football Association of Serbia official Miroslav Tanjga will also be named vice-president, the report says.
