Serbia beat Cyprus in football friendly

LARNACA - The Serbia men's national football team defeated Cyprus 1-0 in a friendly game in Larnaca on Monday evening.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic scored the only goal of the match in the seventh minute.

Cyprus goalkeeper Joel Mall saved a penalty by Aleksandar Mitrovic in the 11th minute.

By coming on as a substitute for Lazar Samardzic at the beginning of the second half, Serbia captain Dusan Tadic set a new record for the most caps in the national team. With 106 caps, he surpassed Branislav Ivanovic's tally of 105.
