BELGRADE - Title holders Red Star Belgrade are through to the semi-finals of the Serbian football cup after a 3-0 hammering of Division 1 side Vrsac at the Rajko Mitic Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Aleksandar Katai put Red Star in the lead in the 6th minute and substitutes Cherif Ndiaye and Osman Bukari scored in the 65th and the 82nd minute, respectively.
Previously, Partizan Belgrade and Vojvodina Novi Sad qualified for the semi-finals by defeating Vozdovac and Cukaricki, respectively, on penalties.
The last quarter-final match between Radnicki Kragujevac and Novi Pazar is scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
The semi-final games are slated for April 24.
