ZURICH - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Swiss businesspeople in Zurich on Wednesday to present Serbia's potential in many areas and the conditions the country is offering to foreign investors, and noted that stronger presence of Swiss companies would give a new impetus to Serbia.
In a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account, Vucic wrote that he had had an excellent meeting with representatives of large and important Swiss companies.
"Proud of the investment-grade rating Serbia has received for the first time in history, as well as of the big plans we are working on, I presented to the businesspeople in attendance the numerous potentials our country has in many areas, as well as projects that are changing the face of not only Serbia but the entire region," Vucic added.
He noted that, at a round table with Swiss entrepreneurs, he had highlighted the excellent conditions Serbia was offering to foreign investors, including a stable business environment and a strategic location that facilitated access to regional markets.
"Even stronger presence of Swiss companies in our strong development would give Serbia a new impetus in know-how, work ethics and new technologies, which would further raise the standards of doing business in our country, and that is one of the visions I am constantly working on," Vucic wrote in the post.
