Brnabic, CRBC general manager discuss cooperation

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic and China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) General Manager Du Fei met on Friday in Belgrade to discuss the company's projects that are successfully underway in Serbia and future plans for cooperation.

Speaking about the construction of a Sino-Serbian industrial park in the Belgrade suburb of Borca, Brnabic noted it was important to begin the construction works soon as the project was also significant for attracting investors and for Serbia's economic growth, the government said in a statement.

She said Chinese investments in hi-tech projects were extremely important for Serbia as they represented the future, and noted that CRBC was already operating in Serbia successfully and was involved in the most significant capital projects in the fields of transport infrastructure and environmental protection.

The CRBC executive said companies from China's most developed provinces were interested in investing in the technology park.

He said Chinese investors were also interested in exploring the market and its opportunities for growth.

The meeting in the Serbian government building was also attended by Chinese Ambassador to Belgrade Chen Bo.
