LONDON - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Tuesday the EBRD Board of Directors was due to approve an 80 mln euro loan to Serbia on Wednesday.
In a statement after a meeting with EBRD President Odile Renaud-Basso in London, Brnabic said 70 mln euros would go to construction of additional science and technology parks in Serbia and announced that a first tender for subsidies to electricity producers using renewables would be launched in about ten days.
She said the EBRD loan would be formally approved on Wednesday and that an agreement on it would be signed in Belgrade on Friday.
"We continue to invest, above all, in our young, educated, creative and innovative people," Brnabic noted.
Prior to the meeting with Renaud-Basso, Brnabic met with British MP Jackie Doyle-Price, who chairs a parliamentary friendship group with Serbia.
