BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament on Wednesday passed a 2023 supplementary budget bill under which budget revenues will total 1,904 bln dinars - 60.6 bln dinars more than initially planned.
The bill ensures an additional 23 bln dinars for new capital projects and investments.
Thirty-five billion dinars is earmarked for additional agricultural subsidies, with 3.9 bln set aside for treatment of rare diseases and medical treatments abroad.
The bill also provides the funds required for one-off financial assistance to mothers of children up to 16 years of age, a 5.5 pct increase of pensions and a wage increase in the same percentage for educators, nurses and medical technicians and caregivers at social protection institutions.
