BELGRADE - The Serbian government's Serbia Creates national platform and the South Korean Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency (BIPA) have signed a Memorandum on strategic cooperation in creative industries, the Serbian government announced on Friday.
On behalf of Serbia Creates and the Boiler Room Creative and Innovation Centre, Serbian Ambassador to South Korea Nemanja Grbic signed the agreement with BIPA Director General Kim Te-Yol.
The signatories said bilateral exchange between Serbia and South Korea had been very dynamic to date, especially in digitalisation, eGovernment and the IT sector, leading to last year's initiative by the PMs of the two countries for cooperation in creative industries as well.
There is a vast number of opportunities for cooperation and sharing know-how and ideas, as well as for networking creative people and for market development, said Serbia Creates Director Ana Ilic.
South Korea is a global leader in a strategic approach to development of creative industries and there is a large interest among its film producers in shooting films in Serbia.
