BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received on Monday a farewell visit from outgoing South Korean Ambassador to Belgrade Jaewoong Lee, with whom he agreed that stepping up bilateral political dialogue and strengthening economic ties needed to be continued.
Vucic wished Lee much success in his new post and said he was confident the ambassador would continue to contribute to cooperation between Serbia and South Korea.
"We agreed that stepping up political dialogue and strengthening economic ties between the two countries needs to be continued," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account.
He noted that growing interest among South Korean companies in conditions for investing in the Serbian market was important for Serbia and that there were ample opportunities for cooperation in areas such as education, culture and sport, as well as in smart city projects, eGovernment and environmental protection.
