Dacic receives farewell visit from Moroccan ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic received a farewell visit from Moroccan Ambassador to Belgrade Mohammed Amine Belhaj on Thursday, thanking him for his contribution to boosting bilateral cooperation in interior affairs during his tenure in Serbia.

Dacic also wished the ambassador much luck and success in his further career.

He noted the commitment of the Serbian Interior Ministry to further development of relations in the field of security, an important segment of the overall relations between the two countries, the ministry said in a statement.

The parties noted that their countries were connected by decades-long friendship and mutual support on preservation of territorial integrity, in line with international law.

Belhaj said he was pleased with the achieved development of friendly relations between the two countries and added that he expected that they would continue during the term of Morocco's next ambassador to Serbia as well.
