Brnabic begins visit to Rome with meeting with Tremonti

ROME - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic on Wednesday began a visit to Italy with a meeting with the chair of the Italian Chamber of Deputies' Committee on Foreign Relations Giulio Tremonti.

"I am glad our strategic partnership is developing in practically all institutional areas and that this year we mark 15 years since the establishment of our strategic partnership," Brnabic noted.

She said further development of parliamentary diplomacy, which she noted represented a very important segment of bilateral cooperation and contributed to overall relations and the success of Serbian efforts on the EU path, would be her priority.

"Italy is certainly one of the countries providing the strongest support for our European integration," Brnabic noted.
