Dacic receives farewell visit from Iranian ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic received a farewell visit from Iranian Ambassador Rashid Hassan Pour Baei on Monday, thanking him for his cooperation and his contribution to strengthening the police cooperation between the two countries.

Dacic noted that Serbia-Iran bilateral relations had been advanced significantly during the ambassador's term, lending an additional impetus to deepening the cooperation in interior affairs, especially in the fight against organised crime and terrorism, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.

Dacic thanked the ambassador for his overall contribution to strengthening of Serbia-Iran relations and wished him success in his further work.

Expressing gratitude for the support for his work, Baei said he was confident bilateral police cooperation between Serbia and Iran would be deepened further and that it would continue to help strengthen the friendly relations between Serbia and Iran.
