BELGRADE - Serbian PM Milos Vucevic met with Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Secretary-General Mathias Cormann on Tuesday.
Vucevic noted that Serbia had a strong fiscal policy, control over its public debt, record-high FX reserves and a stable macroeconomic position, and that its inflationary parameters were declining, the Serbian government said in a statement.
He noted that creating the most favourable conditions possible for attracting FDI remained a number one economic priority for his government.
For that reason, Serbia is striving to create and promote projects that can be interesting to local and foreign investors and companies, he added.
Vucevic said Serbia was investing substantial funds and efforts in scientific and technological development and in incentivising investments, which he noted had resulted in progress in digitalisation.
He added that Serbia was committed to development of new technologies in use at the Novi Sad-based National Institute for Artificial Intelligence and the Kragujevac Data Centre.
