KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Srpska lista said on Tuesday Pristina's central election commission had made another unlawful decision on electoral boards for the February 9 elections in Kosovo-Metohija after an election complaints panel annulled a previous unlawful and forged decision on the composition of the boards, ordering the commission to adopt a new one in line with applicable acts.

In a statement, the Kosovo-Metohija Serb party announced it would appeal the decision, which it said was aimed against it.

It said the latest decision had been made "in clear violation of electoral rules", catering to the party of Pristina PM Albin Kurti's "personal favourite", Serb politician Nenad Rasic.

It said the decision reflected an anti-Serb policy of the Kurti-led regime in Pristina, which it noted was violating all legal acts to stop the Serbs from electing their own representatives and prevent Srpska lista from keeping all ten allocated seats in the Pristina assembly in Serb hands.

Srpska lista Presidency member Igor Simic said earlier in the day the party's appeal against a decision on the composition of electoral boards for the February 9 elections in Kosovo-Metohija had been upheld and that he expected the central election commission to meet again during the day to establish the boards.

"Our appeal regarding the composition of electoral boards was upheld after several hours of delay because even Pristina does not know what to do and what obstacle to put before Srpska lista," Simic told the RTS.
