Macut receives Hungarian ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Djuro Macut received Hungarian Ambassador to Belgrade Jozsef Magyar on Wednesday to discuss a continuation of the successful cooperation to date and deepening and advancement of bilateral relations.
Macut noted that the level of development of Serbia-Hungary relations was higher than ever in recent history thanks to mutual understanding, trust and commitment to bolstering the partnership between the two countries, an official statement said.
Macut highlighted the significance of economic cooperation with Hungary and said bilateral trade had reached a record-high volume in recent years and that the construction of a Hungary-Serbia oil pipeline would ensure greater energy security.
He also thanked Hungary for its strong and continued support for the process of Serbia's EU integration.
