Brnabic receives farewell visit from Norwegian ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic received a farewell visit from Norwegian Ambassador to Belgrade Jorn Eugene Gjelstad on Monday.

In a cordial conversation, Brnabic thanked the ambassador for his personal contribution to advancement of political dialogue and overall cooperation between the two countries, the government press service said in a statement.

Brnabic said the bilateral ties were extremely good, and confirmed a readiness for further strengthening of dialogue and forging of ties between Serbia and Norway.

Brnabic reiterated that European integration remained a foreign policy priority and a strategic commitment for Serbia, and thanked Norway for assistance provided to Serbia on that path.

Gjelstad said Serbia had a stable partner in Norway that would always be available for any kind of partnership and cooperation, the statement said.
